"Light in the World Development Foundation e.V." was introduced by Father Clemens K. Ahiatrogah in the year 2013 in Germany under the name "Globale Entwicklung West-Afrika (DGAO)" as the German branch of the american aid organization "Light in the World Development Foundation". The name of this branch was in 2015 aligned to that of the american organization. It is a non- profit-organization, all functionaries do their work on a honorary basis and get no salary by L.W.D.F.
